In 1905, two pioneering physicians dedicated to the Atlanta community- Floyd W. McRae Sr., M.D., and Ludwig Amster, M.D. - founded Piedmont Hospital, fulfilling a commitment for quality and innovative care in a convenient and comfortable setting. Today, the physicians on staff at Piedmont uphold the long tradition of strong leadership inside and outside the Hospital.

And doctors at Piedmont are leaders in their respective fields, pioneering new procedures, developing new medicines, and setting new standards for personalized patient care.
