Piedmont's board-certified cancer specialists and technicians use the newest science to detect cancer cells, determine the disease's progress and develop the most effective treatment. Our laboratory provides the most advanced biopsy testing and analysis available, and it plays an important role throughout the course of care, as each patient's condition progresses and treatment is adjusted. Our comprehensive onsite imaging services utilize ultrasound, computed tomography scanning (CT), positron emission tomography scanning (PET), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, and angiographic and radiographic procedures to identify cancers and monitor their growth.
